My washing machine is broken, working but problematic and the repair will be almost as much as I bought it for. evidently the control panel is failing and not sending enough voltage to the diverter valve so when the machine fills it is half daring at the same time. What a waste of water! Our serviceman told us that the dryer model we have also is at the end of it's lifespan. Both are Fisher & Paykel - not recommended by us now - as we only purchased them in 2001.
As we were planning on moving our laundry to make room for a new pantry, this does give us more room to design it better with new machines.
